Just after the virus outbreak started the US government looked for an urgent solution in order to get some sort of control over the ongoing situation and establish order. Joint Task Force was established by the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA specifically for this - it consisted of members from various municipal, state, and federal agencies, as well as military and even certain privately owned companies. Each state had a Task Force Detail assigned to it which was tasked to establish a base of operations and bring order to chaos. Sierra - Alpha Detail was assigned to the state of San Andreas which fortified the town of Dillimore due to its convenient location near the city of Los Santos. San Andreas Highway Patrol Captain Butch Dixie was assigned as the unit's Commanding Officer.
After 30 years the outpost still holds and has developed rapidly, as well as kept to its values and follows the initial mission.
