Factions, how to get scripted in-game

There are two different types of factions in the server - unofficial (unscripted) and official (scripted) factions.

To start an unofficial faction the leader has to create a thread in the factions forum section. Members of the faction are encouraged to post media, such as prompts and screenshots of their activities - whether it's in between faction members or with other players. The active thread shows best that the faction is active, and active factions are to receive official status and other perks.

In order to get a faction scripted, otherwise become official, the current unofficial faction has to meet specific criteria to become qualified:

• Have a thread that's been active for at least 2 weeks;
• A minimum of five players must be members;
• The faction must have a leader and at least one assistant leader;
• Faction has to have a visible in-game presence, interacting with players;
• Member attitude and roleplay quality must be of high standard;
• Faction members must have a good standing within the community and no recent administrative punishments.

The main difference between these two types of factions is that official factions are scripted into the server and receive perks, such as being able to act as property landlords, share territories, storage safes, vehicles and many others. Scripted factions are designed to offer everyone a more immersive and enjoyable experience.

• Shared vehicles, storage safes and warehouse;
• Gate restrictions;
• Drones and other special items.

Do note, that everyone is allowed to make a thread and roleplay as a faction, but Desolation's management may close any faction if it is deemed necessary.
